Our job is to nurture that natural ability our goal is to support kids' healthy development. Our philosophy starts with the simple belief that kids are capable of incredible things. An outdoor LID demonstration exhibit was installed at The Discovery Museums in Acton, an ideal location for homeowners, contractors, and municipal staff to. Teen Volunteer Program Discovery Museum Teen Volunteer Program is for students ages 14 through 17 who are looking for experience working with children, opportunities to complete community service requirements, and the chance to learn and build new skills! Students apply to volunteer for a four-month-long cycle, which provides an opportunity to train at the museum and become comfortable working in a fun, fast-paced environment. The elevation changes around Great Hill give rise to a variety of habitats, from marshy woods and wetlands in the east to wooded uplands on the slopes. We offer a flexible schedule that includes 2 to 3 hours/week for four or more weeks throughout the summer.
